ATHLETIC CLUBS’ PROTECTION
ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSOCIATION
The amalgamation of certain hockey clubs had caused a slight drop in the membership of the Canterbury Athletic Clubs’ Protection Association, said a report presented at the annual meeting of the association. Although the number of claims handled by the association during the year had not been as great as in the previous year, 24 member clubs had referred 79 claims, and £73 12s 6d was collected.
The following officers were elected: president. Mr C. Sanderson; committee, Messrs E. A. Harvey, R. A. Linton, A. B. McCallum, D. L. Mitchell, and C. G. Pearce: auditor, Mr F. C. Rogers; solicitor, Mr W. G. P. Cuningham; secretary-treasurer, Mr G. R. Towart.
