FILM MAGNATE TO VISIT N.Z.
WORLD PRESIDENT OF FOX CORPORATION (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 21. Mr Spyros Skouras, world-wide president of the Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, and Mrs Skouras will arrive in Wellington from Sydney on Wednesday. November 12. and will spend six days in the Dominion. He will leave Auckland on November 17. This was announced by the New Zealand head office of the company in Wellington today. Mr Skouras, who is on an extensive business trip, left New York on October 6, and visited the Far East. He visited Korea in company with the Supreme Commander of the United Nations Forces (General Mark Clark) and had discussions with the commander of the Bth Army (General Van Fleet) in Seoul. In New Zealand. Mr Skouras will confer with his company’s executives on matters of picture distribution and exhibition.
