RUGBY FOOTBALL
TOM FRENCH CUP AWARD TO K. DAVIS (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 8. The Tom French Cup, awarded annually to the outstanding Maori Rugby nlaver of the year, has been awarded to K. Davis, of Auckland. Davis played for New Zealand against Australia in the second test, and was a member of the New Zealand Maori team which played a New Zealand fifteen on July 26 and toured the South Island.
