PRICES FOR SLIPE WOOLS

FIGURES FOR LAST LONDON AUCTIONS (New Zealand Press Association) n a WELLINGTON, Oct. 8. Prices for halfbred lambs’ slipes (unshorn body wool) were firm at the London wool auction sales from September 15 to 26, as compared with the closing rates of the previous London series on July 25 last. x^ A< lX ice of this h as been received by the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board and the New Zealand Wool Board from the London agency of the Wool Commission. Crossbred lambs were 5 per cent, cheaper, while good sheep slipes were on a par with the July closing rates. Poor or inferior sheep slipes advanced about 5 per cent.
