United Nations infantrymen today beat back between 12,000 and 15,000 screaming Chinese Communists charging in human waves in the biggest co-ordinated Communist attack in Korsa in at least a year. The Allies had known for three days of the attack and were ready for it. The Bth Army said the massive enemy assault captured seven hill positions, but the Allied defenders stood their ground at most places. Many hundreds of Chinese were killed.
