Invitations to attend afternoon parties were received from Templeton Womens Institute and the Tai Tapu branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers. Arrangements were made for the twentieth birthday party. Mrs T. Medlin and Miss B. Medlin, who are leaving on a visit to Australia, were bidden farewell and presented with floral sprays. Competitions were won by Mesdames Jordan and Moreland. The hostess for the afternoon was Mrs W. Page. The monthly competitions resulted:—small bloom, Mrs Moir I. Mrs Chesney 2.
