The board di governors of the college has planned for many years to move the whole school to this site, and if the biU is passed, the plan will be brought to fruition. Clergy Pension Fund, Te Wai j Pounamu College and the public and i *ocial affairs committee. ’ > Attendance of 125 Members It is expected that about 125 clergy : and laymen will attend the synod as representatives of the various parishes oi the diocese. On Tuesday morning, after Holy Communion in the Cathedral, a clerical conference will be held at St. Saviour’s, Sydenham, and a laymen’s conference will be held ' at Church House. Mission work of the church will be discussed on Tuesday evening, -when the Diocesan Missionary Council’s report will be presented. The Bishop and Mrs Warren will entertain members of the synod at morning tea at Bishopscourt on Wednesday. To enable the annual meeting of St. Saviour’s Guild to be held, the synod will adjourn for an hour and a half on Wednesday afternoon. Reports for Discussion Elections to committees and boards will be held on Thursday afternoon. The synod will receive reports and accounts on the first day of the session from diocesan bodies, including the standing committee, the Cathedral Chapter, the Church Property Trustees, the Clergy Pension Board, the Diocesan Youth Council, the Dioeesan Council for Women's Church Work, and the governing bodies of Church schools.

A report from the diocesan public and social affair* committee will deal with gambling, staffing and pastoral care in the mental hospitals, and the training of theological students.
