MARGARINE POPULAR IN DENMARK

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 6. Danish production of margarine, most of which was consumed in Denmark, was steadily increasing, said Mr S. H. Iversen, of Mount Wellington, who. returned to Auckland in the Wanganella today after a visit to his former home in Denmark. The margarine was of good quality and was greatly sought by the Danes. Mr Iversen, who has been in New Zealand for three years, said 75 per cent, of Denmark’s dairy produce was exported to England. Strenuous efforts were being made to increase dairy production. Most of the extra would go to the United Kingdom market.
