ANNUAL BIBLE CLASS RACE The annual Bible race conducted by the Christchurch Anglican Harrier Club for the Christchurch Diocese Anglican Bible Class Union attracted a good field of runners. In the senior race F. S.. Jarvis (Holy Trinity, Avonside) took over the lead from A. Mahan (St. Mary’s, Addington) after two miles and maintained the lead to the finish. W. Gaudin (individual) came through the field to take second place about 17 seconds behind Jarvis. B. Bragg made a late run to catch and pass his team-mate, Mahan, and finished 100 yards back in third place. Results:— Senior.—F. S. Jarvis (Avonside) 1, W. Gaudin (individual) 2, B.
