SIR JOHN COCKROFT LEAVES BRITAIN (N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) (Rec 7 pan.) LONDON, August 16. Sir John Cockroft, Director of the British Atomic Research Establishment at Harwell, and Lady Cockroft left London to-day by air for New Zealand and Australia. . Sir John Cockroft wil lecture in New Zealand and later attend British atomic tests in the Montebello Islands.
