AGRICULTURAL CLUB
WAIMAKARIRI GROUP’S ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Waimakariri group of the Boys’ and Giris’ Agricultural Club was held recently in the West Melton School. A slight debit balance, mainly due to an adverse growing season, was shown in the financial statement. Plans were made for the 1952 stock parade to be held at the West Melton School grounds on November 21. The election of officers resulted: — patron, Mr M. E. Jenkins; president, Mr W. J. Seaton; vice-president. Mr D. Douglas; secretary, Mr T. Morrison; delegates to advisory committee, Messrs Seaton and Morrison; committee, Messrs H. C. Wild, P. Davison, K. Chambers, E. V. Chatterton, C. Gilmour, J. D. Henderson, J. A. Wilson, A. H. McKay, J. D. Bitten, N. K. Calder, W. Oakley, W. Banks, S. G. Pascoe, J. Burnett, G. R. Seaton, H. Feast, S. Robertson, W. A. Bradley, J. Gemmel. T. Sadler.
