BANKS PENINSULA CRUISING CLUB

Included in a new set of safety rules adopted by the Banks Peninsula Cruising Club at a special meeting last evening were regulations governing the sailing of club yachts outside intended harbour limits. Owners of all yachts going outside the Intended harbour limits prescribed by the Marine Department must complete a form giving a full description of their boats. The annual meeting was held after the special meeting. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr T. T, Gough; president, Mr H. A. Rhind; vice-presidents, Messrs O. H. Barns, W. H. Browne, and R. B. Neale; commodore, Mr A. C. Lambert; vice-com-modore, Mr S. J. Wearn; rear-commodore, Mr L. Taylor: honorary auditor, Mr W. H. Beanland; honorary solicitor, Mr A. C. Brassington; committee, Messrs T. Berland, D. N. Cresswell, J. Doleman, A Haworth, G. I. F. Treleaven, and N. Walker; trustees, Messrs A. C. Lambert and Gs-R. Towart; honorary secretary and i treasurer, Mr G. R. Towart.
