MR HOLLANDS TOUR
ASHBURTON VISIT TODAY The Prime Minister (Mr Holland) will arrive in Lyttelton by the steamer lls morning to begin his tour of the South Island. Mr Holland will spend only a few hours in Christchurch, but in that time will meet two deputations, before leavins for Ashburton. On his tour Mr Holland will visit the smaller centres in the main, although he will visit the cities of Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill.
Mr Holland will spend the night in Ashburton and continue south to-mor-row. He will be back in Canterbury on May 13, when he will arrive in Waimate from Dunedin. He will spend that night there and then travel to Geraldine and back to Christchurch, where he will spend two days.
