CANTERBURY SEA CADET CORPS
CHAMPIONSHIPS HELD AT LYTTELTON The Canterbury division of the Sea Cadet Corps held the annual interwatch sailing and pulling championships at Lyttelton on Saturday. Results were:— Sailing.—Sumner sub-division 1, Starboard Watch 2 Port Watch 3. Coxswain, Cadet Leading-Seaman Byfleld. Pulling—Starboard Watch 1. Sumner sub-division 2. Port Watch 3. Coxswain, Cadet Ordinary-Seaman Adamson. Tug-o-War.—Sumner sub-division. The gunnery competition resulted:— Port Watch. 85 points, 1; Sumner subdivision, 79, 2; Starboard Watch, 70. 3.
