BRITISH SOLDIER’S ARREST
(Rec 9 p.m.) LONDON. March 3. Officers of the British Army's special investigation branch have interviewed a French woman in Paris in connexion with the artest of a 49-year-old Armv Captain, St. John F. Wintour, of the King s Royal Rifle Corps, who is being held under close arrest at Winchester. Captain Wintour, who was made a member of the Order of the British Empire during the war for administrative work, was arrested in Pans two weeks ago on a charge of ta'ing absent without leave. He is believed to have been friendly with the woman, whom special officers interviewed.
