Pricfes “Distinctly Firmer” - (Rec. 11.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 4. At the Sydney wool sales to-day the m&rket was distinctly firmer with Merino values tending in sellers’ favour compared with the Sydney •ales on February 25. Comebacks and crossbreds were both firmer with values par to 5 per tent, higher than the Sydney sale of February 25. ‘ Competition improved with British buyers operating with more confidence.
