WOOL SHIPMENTS TO U.S.
PROVISION MADE FOR LOADING “NO CANCELLATION OF PURCHASES” (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Match 3. Shipments of wool from New Zealand to_the United States would not now be' delayed, and there would be no cancellation of purchases, with a consequent loss of dollar earnings, Said the Minister of Agriculture (Mr K. J. Holyoake) to-night. He said that satisfactory arrangements had been made With shipping company representatives. woolbuyers, and the Waterfront Industry Commission (Mr A. E. Bockett) for the reallocation of cargoes to permit the shipment of wool fbr the Uhited States before the current credits of the American woolbuyers expired. Last week it was feared that because of the slow turn-roUnd at New Zealand Ddrts wool cargoes for the United States would be delayed and that if the woob Could nbt be shipped before the time limits on the credits of United States woolbtiyers expired the purchases would -be cancelled.
