Wyndham Entries Canterbury stables are well represented in the nominations for the Wyndham Trotting Club’s meeting on March 15. The main race, which is a 4min 38sec class event over two miles, is the most tightlyassessed, race ever run in Southland, and it has aroused considerable interest. Canterbury entries for the meeting include Black Pegasus, Combateer, General Lee, Fairy Dell, Attachment, Authie, Irish Orator, Blue Print, County Sheriff, Baron Scott, Alluck, Inquisitive Lady, Monte Casino, Maid Myra, Lindy Lou, Grange Lady, Dourglo, Jacare, Paia Royal, and Alkin. Fallacy

This season’s leading three-year-old pacer, Fallacy, has been entered for the Wyndham Juvenile Stakes, to be run on March 15. It is almost certain that he will make the trip and, if he does, his appearance will arouse considerable interest. ■ The Light Brigade colt has been educated as a trotter recently, and it is likely that he will take his place in the New Zealand Trotting. Stakes field at the Addington Easter meeting. If he is not raced as a trotter. Fallacy will have to race in handicap events, as he is not eligible for the New Zealand Pacing Stakes, which is restricted to three and four-year-olds, which have not won more than two races. ’ It fk unfortunate that the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club has not included a race on its Easter programme for three-year-olds.
