PYNE, GOULD, GUINNESS LTD. CHRISTCHURCH FLOCK RAM FAIR, 1952. DISPERSAL SALES OF REGISTERED EWE FLOCKS AT 10 AJ4., THURSDAY, MARCH 13th, Prior to the Start of the Flock Ram Fair. We have been favoured with instructions to conduct dispersals of registered ewes as follows: Account MR J. GILBERT, Pine Grove, Hawarden: FLOCK NO. 193 „ 47 Three-shear Registered Southdown Ewes. 30 Four-Shear Registered Southdown Ewes. These represent the balance of Mr Gilbert's registered Flock, the one and twoshear ewes having been disposed of by private treaty during 1951. The abovementioned ewes carry a large infusion of Punchbowl and Massey blood, Mr Gilbert having on several occasions been a buyer of high-priced sires from these studs. The Pine Grove sheep have plenty of size and length, and are extremely well headed. They are, in our opinion, the ideal ewes for breeding good, roomy, commercial rams, and should also be very suitable for crossing purposes. Account ESTATE A. E. WITHELL, Raywell.
