The names of 28 K Force footballm who are to represent the British Commonwealth forces in Korea for a Rugby tour of Japan, were announced yesterday by the coach and tour manager. Lieutenant D. B. Doake, Christchurch. The actual fifteen will be selected a few days before the first game of the tour—against all Kyushu at Fukuoaka on March 9. The weight of the 15 forwards selected averages 13st 91b, while the average weight of the playing pack is almost 14st. The backs average 12st. Eight of -the players selected are from the 16th New Zealand Field Regiment, two are signalmen, eight are members of a transport company, four are from the Divisional Headquarters Transport Platoon, and six from K Force Base at Hiro. Among the 28 is Driver A. E. Hills (Auckland), who represented Auckland last season and played for Australia in both tests against the British Isles the year before.
