NEW AIRCRAFT FOR R.N.Z.A.F.
LONDON, January 17. Five aircraft, manned by New Zealand crews, are to leave England for delivery to the Royal New Zealand Air Force late this month or early in February. . They will be two Bristol Freighters, two Devons, and one Hastings. The dates of departure are uncertain at the moment. The aircraft are undergoing tests and trials. New equipment is also being tested. Clashes in Tunisia.— Three persons were killed and 30 injured yesterday in clashes in Bizerta and Ferryville when Tunisian Nationalists protested against the banning of the party’s congress, due to open in Tunis to-day.— i Tunis, Jan. 17.
