Cameras from all the major networks followed his every televising of Mr Churchill by all networks led to the cancellation of earlier plans to pick up the scene of Captain Carlsen's reception in New Churchill's speech was also broadcast throughout the United States and was relayed to Britain and the Commonwealth countries for reof America” —the official United States overseas radio—said it would broadcast translations in 46 languages to all parts of the world.
