WAIKATO CLUB "The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND, January 18. Splendid fields are carded for the Waikato Trotting Club's summer meeting at Claudelands on Saturday. The principal race and the first leg of the double will be the Waikato Trotting Cup, and the second leg will be the Frankton Handicap. The track is expected to be fast. division, Jimmy Wrack, Last Scott, Manu Parrish. 12.20 p.m.—Waikato Stakes: Delta, Lady Peter, San Jose. 1.10 p.m.—Waikato Cup: Velvet Brown, Eureka Scott, Village King. 1.50 p.m.—Tristram Memorial Handicap: Anxious Moments, Sabre Dance, Contractor. 2.35 p.m.—Frankton Handicap: Hidden Wealth, Patrick Earl, Gallant Bronze. 3.15 p.m.—Advance Handicap: Vaiden, Dandy Lawn. Lucky Gaillard. 4 p.m.—Waipa Handicap: Princess Jewel-Lawn Grattan bracket, General Grattan, Josie Grattan.
