NOTICE is hereby given that' the Rangiora Borough Council proposes at its Meeting to be held on the 24th day of JANUARY, 1952, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of four thousand and seven hundred pounds (£4700) for the purposes of installing a relief sewer from Ivory street to the septic tank. The security for such loan shall be a special rate of one and one-tenth penny (l.ld) in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the sewer area of the Borough of Rangiora, being the special rating area as is defined in the N.Z. Gazette of November 7, 1929, page 2804, and the special rating area of lots one to eleven inclusive and part lot twelve, D.P. 9559. R.S. 473, Rangiora Borough. It is proposed that the term of the loan be twelve (12) years and be repayable by half-yearly instalments of principal and interest over the term of the loan such repayments to be met from the proceeds of a special rate over the said special rating sewered areas. It is not proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan or the interest and sinking fund for the first year Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Rangiora Borough Council not later than the dav preceding the said Meeting.
