There was a full day’s play in the second day of the Dominion croquet tournament to-day, in spite of wind marring performances. A notable return to form was made by W. H. Kirk and Mrs Kirk, of Christchurch, who won their games against strong opposition. Results:— Open Championships First Round.—Mrs Kirk (Christchurch) beat Miss Lydford (Napier). 20-26, 26-8, 26-26; W.
