Auckland Railway Electrification
A committee of four is being set up by the Minister of Transport, Mr W. S. Goosman to report oh questions that will arise from the proposal to proceed with the electrification of railways in the Auckland metropolitan area. The committee will consist °* one representative each of the Auckland Transport Board, the private bus proprietors, the Railway Department, and the Transport Department. In the meantime a Railway Department investigation is being made into the travelling habits of suburban Aucklanders.
