DUNEDIN UNION MEMBERSHIP
SUGGESTED BAN ON FORMER WORKERS
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, August 3. Uproar was caused at a meeting of the Dunedin Waterfront Workers’ Union to-day when a member moved a resolution that no more deregistered unionists should be admitted to the new union. The secretary of the union (Mr F. L. G. Morriss) said to-night that the motion had been left over till the next meeting. He added: “If anything is done it will be done in the democratic way, that is, by a secret ballot.”
