SENATE VOTES TO CUT FUNDS (Rec. 11 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Sept 1. The United States Senate passed a 7,286,250.000-dollar foreign aid bill last night. It cut the funds sought by President Truman for economic and military assistance to America’s antiCommunist allies by 1,213,750,000 dollars. The bill now goes to a conference of the Senate and the House of Representatives. The House had previously approved a 7.499.000,000-dollar measure. The conference will attempt to reach a compromise between ihe amounts.
