Wellington, and dealing with the 27 hours after'the time of issue, is:— Situation: there is a ridge of high pressure over New Zealand, and a cold front is approaching the South Island from the south-west. Forecast: moderate winds from a northerly quarter; weather fair and cool. Outlook for Sunday: brief showers. WEST COAST I The forecast for the West Coast of the South Island is:— Moderate westerlies: skies partly eloudy, with scattered showers, becoming heavier in the south; temperatures cool. Outlook for Sunday: changeable, with some showers
