OBITUARY
MR W. J. LEVERSEDGE Mr Walter John Leversedge *k« died in Christchurch on Thursdrr served all his working life with tiL Bank of New South Wales. ** Mr Leversedge, who was bom i. Papanui in 1873, left ChristchurA Boys’ High School to join the bank He was manager of branches of the bank at Tokomaru Bay. Stratford Timaru, Masterton, Napier. NeW and in other parts of New Zealand/ In his young days he represented Wellington at Rugby football. ‘ For > number of years he was a member of the Sumner Bowling Club. Mr Leversedge is survived by Mt wife, Mrs C. Leversedge (Nelson)two daughters—Mrs E. H. Stephem (Stoke, Nelson), Miss J. H. Leversedn (Sydney, Australia) and Mrs A. Terry (Queensland); and three sons—Menn J. M. Leversedge (Lower Hutt) and G. S. Leversedge (Lawrence), who are both with branches of the Bank of New South Wales, and Mr R. n Leversedge (Nelson).
