COMMISSIONER HOGGARD IN CHRISTCHURCH Salvationists from all parts of Canterbury will assemble in Christchurch over the wee K-end for a series of youth meetings to be conducted by the leader of the Salvation Army in New Zealand (Lieu-tenant-Commissioner Robert A. Hoggard). Commissioner Hoggard will meet the youth leaders at tea this evening, after which there will be a discussion on the proclems of youth work. This will be followed by a programme presented by the Salvation Army talent quest winners. On Sunday three sessions of youth councils will be held in the Y.M.C.A. During the afternoon Ngaire Mayfield, a Christchurch delegate to the International Salvationist Youth Congress in London last year, will report on congress findings.
