SYDNEY WOOL SALES
(Rec. 12.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, August 30. Rates for better types Of Merino fleece wools declined by 5 per cent, on yesterday’s values at the Sydney wool sales to-day. Comebacks and crossbreds Were unchanged Competition fluctuated. The Continent predominated, with some support from Yorkshire. The offering totalled 13,989 bales, of which 13,199 were sold. Top price was 105 d for creasy Merino. During the week the following prices were realised for crossbred: fine 66d to 72d; coarse 34d to 36d.
