FRIGATE SAILS FOR KOREA
FIFTH N.Z. SHIP TO SERVE T4UPO LEAVES AUCKLAND » (New Zealand Press Association) —. AUCKLAND, August 28. The fifth New Zealand frigate to sail for Korean waters. H.M.N.Z.S. laupo. left the Devonport naval base this afternoon to join the United Nations fleet in the Far East. Members ot the ship’s company and about 100 relatives and friends mingled on the quayside before she sailed. The frigates Rotoiti, Hawea, Pukaki, and Tutira have already served in Korean .1’ an d the Rotoiti and Hawea aye still there.
.The ship s company was addressed by Captain G. M. V.
