ANTI-BRITISH RIOTING

(Rec. 7 p.m.) CAIRO, Aug. 28. Twenty policemen and 10 demonstrators were injured to-njght ifi a clash outside the British Embassy in Cairo. The police fired into the air tb disperse demonstrators after tear gas had failed to move them. The crowd was demonstrating against the British-Egyptian treaty of 1938. To-day is the anniversary of the signing of the treaty. Troops were called out when demonstrations broke out all over Cairo. Stones were thrown at the British and American Embassies.. The crowds shouted: "Down with Britain.”
