MAORI TEAM
BEAZLEY WITHDRAWS (New Zealand Press Association) WHANGAREI. August 27. B. W. Beazley, Northland winger and centre in the game against Auckland on Wednesday, has withdrawn from the New Zealand Maori team to play Taranaki and the Fijians. He notified the New Zealand Rugby Union to-day that he would not go south because it meant too much time off work. J. B. Smith, the Northland captain, withdrew from the Maori team last week.
