CANTERBURY TITLES DECIDED The general standard of wrestling was high at the Canterbury amateur championships. which were held at the Crichton Cobbers’ Club last evening. The outstanding bout of the evening was in the feather-weight division, when L. G. Keats beat M. G. Fussell, New Zealand c h® m " pion, on points. T. Donovan, wrestling for the fly-weight title, beat D. Keats bj a fall in the first minute of the contest The following are the winners and run-ners-up in each division:— Flv-weight: T. Donovan; D. Keats. Ban-tam-weight: M. B. Northcott, !• B. Roberts. Feather-weight: L. G. Keats; M. G Fussell. Light-weight: G. Hobson; G. T. Lonlni. Welter-weight: P. G. Long, P. Jackson. Middle-weight: J. Harris; G. R. Farmer. Light heavy-weight: R. W. Moir; R. W. Stirling. Heavy-weight. E. Jacobs; R. W. Stirling.
