INTER-ISLAND GAME ON SATURDAY

Final arrangements for the inter-ialand match, to be played at WHliamson Hockey Park next Saturday, were made at a meeting last evening of the management committee of the Canterbury Hockey Association. Arrangements for the Quatre Bras Cup competition, to be played in Christchurch on September 1, and for the New. Zealand Challenge Shield match between Canterbury and Manawatu on September 8, were also discussed. It was decided to send Canterbury junior A and B teams to Greymouth on September 15 for matches against the West Coast. The annual five-a-side tournament will be held on September 8, all the matches being played in the morning.
