SUPERANNUATION

Sir,—With your correspondent, "Superannuitant,” I was surprised 'to note the difference in the two advertisements of the National Party, one giving the increase in universal superannuation immediately to £75 a year and £BO next year, the other for the increase to start next year. You, sir, were evidently under the impression that the increase was immediate, from your leading article of August 24. Now the long suffering superannuitants. after being promised relief tor years, will have to wait until June next for this. Is Mr Nash’s increase immediate? As for postponing retlring.to increase benefits as you suggest, I delayed mine for over two years, and was charged £5 a year. It was under Labour.—Yours, etc., NON-NATIONAL; August 25, 1951. •.
