RETREADED TYRES
HIGHER PRICE TO BE CHARGED (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 26. The cost of retreading and recapping tyres will be increased by 81 per cent on Monday by authority of the Price Tribunal. An executive member of the New Zealand Tyre Retreaders' Association •aid that the increase in price would only coyer the increase in the cost of the materials.
