NEWS FOR WOMEN TEA DANCE

INFORMAL GATHERING The Twentieth Century group .of the Overseas League, a very enthusiastic and enterprising body, held an informal tea dance on Saturday when more than 100 members and their friends were present at the league’s rooms in Cashel street. Dancing was held in the upstairs lounge at the Waldorf and tea was served by the committee in the league’s room on the lower floor. Among the guests were Mr A. I. Cottrell, president of the league and Mr D. W. Bain. Dominion secretary of the league. Members of the committee were Misses Gillian Maturin (secretary), Janet Purchas, Heather McCrostie, Suzanne Marshall, June Robertson, Judith Gill. Elizabeth Addison, Messrs J. G. Leggat (president), J. S. Vincent, E. P. Wait and R Walker, and the branch secretary (Miss E. Wild) helped with the arrangements.
