EARTHQUAKES IN NICARAGUA
’ MANAGUA (Nicaragua), August 3. b* Strong earthquakes to-day split open the sides of the long-dormant Consiguina volcano and sent a torrent of water crashing down from the lake *tn its crater to inundate the small •Pacific Coast port of Potosi. ■ The town is reported to have been » destroyed, and casualties are believed Fto be heavy.
