FREE KINDERGARTEN ASSOCIATION

SECTION BOUGHT AT BECKENHAM

The Beckenham committee of the Christchurch Free Kindergarten Association has bought a section for a new kindergarten. This was announced at the monthly meeting of the Christchurch Free Kindergarten Association yesterday. Mrs A. fceith Hadfield presided. Plans were completed for a childrens fancy dress parade and fair to be held in the Wentworth early next month. It was reported that kindergarten directors were arranging group nursery rhymes fancy dresses for the children, which should be both attractive and in keeping with the spirit of the kindergarten. Mrs Hadneld said that the associas twenty-second kindergarten at Risingholme had been opened this month, with Miss Beverley Franklin kinder Earten would cater for 50 children each week—3o in the morning and 20 in each of the two afternoon sessions.
