NORTH ISLAND TEAM CHOSEN ALL AUCKLAND PLAYERS EXCEPT TWO (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 4. ; The North Island selectors (Messrs TA. McClymont, Auckland, C. H. Siddle South Auckland, and G. R. Simpson, Welhngton) have chosen all Auckland or South Auckland players to represent the North Island in the inter-island Rugby League match to be played at CarTaw Park on July 14. Davidson, and A. Hambleton (South Auckland). , WELLINGTON BEATEN BY AUCKLAND | (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 4. The Auckland Rugby League representatives beat Wellington by 12 points to 5 at Carlaw Park this afternoon. Heavy rain marred the game, and as a trial for selection of the New Zealand and North’ Island teams it did not assist the selectors. For Auckland tries were scored, by B. Robertson (2), C. Harris, and BJ Hough. For Wellington J. Dodd scored a try and F. Mott kicked a penalty goal. Senior Reserve Trial Match The following Possibles and Probables teams have been selected to play a senioi reserve trial match on Saturday, July 77 at Jerrold street, at 1.30 p.m.:— ; Possibles.—L.
