Persian Authorities Raid Premises (Rec. 9.30 p.m.) TEHERAN, June 30. Persian nolice to-day raided the emergency headquarters of the AngloIranian Oil Company in Teheran, on orders from the Prime Minister (Dr. Mussadiq). They produced a search warrant which stated that they were looking for secret documents and a hidden radio transmitter. Lpter an officer and four men of the Persian Army raided the AngloIranian Oil Company’s fire station at Abadan, in a search for rifles and ammunition. During the raid on the emergency headquarters in Teheran, the police cordoned off the building and prevented anyone from entering or leaving. The raid followed a series of accusations in the Persian press that the building was being used as a secret meeting-place for the company’s agents.
