READY FOR THE STUDENTS’ PROCESSION.—These grotesque figures will be features of to-day’s procession organised by students of Canterbury University College. The horribly pink elephant originated at Rolleston House, and the “centipennial" bug at College House. It is hoped that the public will throw pennies and other coins into the capacious mouth of the “centipennial” bug to augment the funds of the New Zealand Institute for the Blind.
