HIGHER COST OF NEWSPRINT ~ t LONDON, April 29. British national daily newspapers except “The Times,” will increase their price fay |d from May 7. Mornin;, and evening papers will cost lid, except the “Daily Telegraph,” which, now lid, will cost 2d, and “The Times," whicn remains at 3d. An increase in newsprint price of £l4 a ton is given as the main reason.
