APPRECIATION

Sir, —I, too, would like to express my appreciation and thanks to those good citizens of ours, who, under such hazardous conditions, worked so hard to restore power and light so promptly to us all. They are indeed to be highly commended, as are also our fine servicemen, who tackled unexpected and unknown tasks with such efficiency. To know we have such men in our midst, who willingly put duty before self, heartens one and gives one confidence that goodness will eventually prevail and overcome evil. —Yours, etc., N. L. SIMMONDS.
