MOTOR-CYCLE ACCIDENTS
Sir,—For some time now police and transport authorities in Australia have been conducting an all-out campaign to reduce the number of motor-cycle accidepts. But it seems to me that they are grappling with the problem at its source; they are teaching motorcyclists to ride on factory-built, dualcontrol training motor-cycles. As it is now possible to import this type of motor-cycle into New Zealand, would it not be in the interests of the community as a whole to see this new method of road education being utilised either bv or with the support of the Police and Traffic Departments? —Yours, etc., WATCHFUL. April 30. 1951.
