LAND FOR NEW SCHOOL AT SPREYDON
The Education Department proposes to erect a new school in Rose street. Spreydon. The Department has purchased a property, and is negotiating for the purchase of adjoining properties. It intends to purchase all the back land between Rose street. Ashgrove terrace, Barrington, and Fairview streets for the site. The City Council has a caveat for a proposed road through the block, and decided last night to approve of its release.
