CONSTRUCTION STAFF, STATE ELECTRICITY COMMISSION OF VICTORIA Applications are invited from qualified civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, technical assistants, surveyors, draftsmen, construction supervisors, for positions on the construction staff of the Morwell Briquetting Project where the Commission is engaged on the construction of open cut brown coal workings, coal winning and conveying machinery, briquetting factories, steam power stations with the attendant auxiliary works such as railways, water supply systems, roads, houses, and hostels for the accommodation of personnel, workshops, etc. A vigorous housing programme is in progress at Morwell, and, as houses become available, they will be allotted to appointees, with preference to the more senior posts. Salaries quoted include current cost of living adjustment—£22l per annum; commencing salary in each case will be according to the qualifications and experience of the appointee. Participation in the Commission's superannuation fund and generous recreation, sick and long service leave are available to appointees.
